Ghent University - International Centre for Reproductive Health

About UG-ICRH     

The International Centre for Reproductive Health was established in 1994 within the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ghent and is recognized as a WHO collaborating centre. Its main objective is to improve the acceptability, accessibility and quality of health care with the emphasis on reproductive health. ICRH activities focus on improving the whole spectrum of health care ranging from primary health care to specialized reproductive health care.

ICRH has extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative research and is at present coordinating several research and development projects in the field of reproductive health which are implemented in collaboration with African, Latin American, Asian and European partners. ICRH is funded by different donors, among others by the EC.

Tasks assigned: UG-ICRH team will be responsible for the overall coordination of the project, and the lead partner of  WP1, WP4, WP8, WP9. Its responsibilities include:

  • The scientific coordination of the project
  • The consortium management
    - Financial management
    - Reporting to the EC
    - Monitoring the project conduction
